As a director he debuted 2014 hit Tulu movie Chaali Polilu, the total film Budget is Rs. 0.46 crore, it has crossed Rs one crore in box office collections in just three weeks, breaking all previous box office records. The film has so far collected around 2.5 crores at Box-office. Now he is working on the Script for Unnamed Kannada movie. He is not only a Director, also a screen writer & Lyricist.
Superhit Tulu film 'Chaali Polilu', released on October 31, 2014 which has created new record in the regional film industry, Has Completed a 500 days in theatre.
Chaali Polilu is a milestone movie for him in Tulu film industry. It has successfully completed 75 days in five theatres, 100 days in three theatres and on March it also completed 500 days. This is a Biggest record in the regional film industry. and also The movie has bagged eight awards.
